Dare to Fail

I was in one of those reflective moods today and remembered the challenge ‘dare to fail’!

It was years ago when I was selling financial services and to keep yourself going, to stay motivated and keep a positive outlook you spent some time listening to motivational tapes and that was the first time I had heard of Zig Ziglar and now some 20 plus years later his name comes up again.

If you read my earlier posts you will know that James Martell used Zig Ziglar’s 7 steps to help me produce my blueprint for my business and that’s what I’ve been working to the past few weeks.

Well when I was listening to those tapes all those years ago I always remember a story by a priest who worked in the USA somewhere. I cannot remember the full details of the story but I do remember that the main point of the story was that a number of elderly people had been interviewed and asked some interesting questions.

What I remember coming back from that survey was that the majority of these people who were now reflecting back over their whole life came to some interesting conclusions

  • What had seemed important and critical at the time was in fact insignificant on reflection
  • They wished they were leaving something permanent behind, their mark on society
  • And they wished they’d risked more. Done the deal, bought the business, set up on their own.

For some reason that tape always struck a chord with me. How often I talk to people and they tell me they wish they had the nerve to do this or that. They’d always dreamed of doing something but they never got around t it.

Many have dreams that never get started because they don’t ‘dare to fail’. Their fear of failure stops them pursuing their dreams but surely the real failure is that they didn’t even try!

People often start out on the internet looking to make money online and see some people getting extremely wealthy with their internet business and wish it was them. The internet is an opportunity for everyone.

There are so many markets and choices its mind boggling. You can go into 99% of the markets online and succeed because the competition is doing such a bad job of succeeding and they’re still making money!

So in reality you have no excuse. There is no reason why you should fail. If you follow The System and work at it hard the rewards will come. It isn’t easy, no real success ever is, but it is doable and the path is laid out clearly in The System.

Ken McCarthy has written it all out for you. He’s shown you the way. Now it’s up to you.

I dare you to fail!

The internet provides an opportunity for everyone like no other medium can and it’s still wide open for those willing to try, to learn the business, to learn how to communicate online, to learn how to get traffic and convert that traffic.

The task really is that simple. Remember …

Traffic x Conversions = Profits

Go on, I double dare you!
